To Whom It May Concern

To Whom It May Concern at BBC Radio Scotland,

Why have you decided to axe The Janice Forsyth Saturday Morning Radio Show - one of only a couple of programmes that broadcast music during the day - a show that regularly plays and supports artists from across the Scottish music scene (both old and new)?

I love my local radio station, I love the balance it has between music, news, sport and chat and am a regular daytime listener but please, please, please do not sacrifice a wonderfully eclectic music and chat show for yet even more sport on a Saturday - The Janice Forsyth Show is a welcome break amongst the sports shows already being broadcast throughout Saturday. How much sport can a nation take!?!

Please let me know where to send my next demo tape for your consideration as I love having my music played on my national radio station - always a proud moment in my house…

Yours Faithfully, Joe McAlinden (musician and sports fan).

_LINDEN

Linden is the new musical project from songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Joe McAlinden. The debut album Bleached Highlights is out soon on Edwyn Collins' & James Endeacott's AED Records. The album and current single Brown Bird Singing were recorded and produced at West Heath Yard in London by Edwyn Collins & Seb Lewsley and feature guest musicians James Walbourne, Paul Cook and Bart Mosh. One day it will all make sense. Until then...
